The Heron Inn offers an excellent range of homemade, locally sourced dishes cooked to order. There is always a wide selection of fresh fish available, including Cornish Crab. We use local producers and suppliers where possible, both supporting local business and helping to reduce our carbon footprint. For those with special dietary requirements, the Heron Inn is very accommodating to your needs and gluten free versions of a number of their dishes are available on request, including the Sunday Roasts!
The pub is open for morning drinks and offers a selection of snacks to enjoy with your coffee. Lunches and evening meals are served every day, during the busy seasons it is advisable to book, and always recommended on Sunday lunchtimes. The pub is open all day from Easter with a selection of homemade cakes and cream teas available throughout the afternoon, lovely to enjoy on the terrace.
The terrace area offers panoramic views of the river and is a fantastic sun trap in the summer. During the winter months there is outside heating, so you can still sit and enjoy the stunning views or sit with your dogs whilst having lunch or just a warming coffee or hot chocolate.
Our dishes are cooked to order, therefore to deliver quality we do not serve fast-food, we just serve good food as quickly as possible.
We can cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, so please feel free to ask!
