The Barley Sheaf is in the heart of Bodmin. Central to many cornish towns and landmarks, we offer home made pub grub, with 10 letting bedrooms, 3 en suite which have recently been refurbished. Ideal central place for visiting various tourist attractions, such as the Eden Project. Bodmin is full of history and local attractions include Bodmin Jail, Lanhydrock House, Camel Trail and Shire Hall. We also have a function room - ideal to celebrate any occasion, which is used for Country Nights during the winter.
The bar is open from 11.00am - 11.00pm Monday - Saturday and 12.00 noon - 10.30pm on Sundays.
Food is served from 11.00am - 8.00pm everyday. Children welcome - children's menu. Separate non-smoking area for eating.
Basic food, home made. Pub grub with menu extending regularly.
Pastow and Looe both 20 minutes drive, and both offer plenty of boating facilities.
Pool room separate to main bar. Beer garden during summer months with outside speakers for background music.
Dragon leisure centre within walking distance. Weekly sixties disco. Monthly live artists in function room. Lakeview leisure centre.
Dragon centre, both local for swimming.
Parking available front and back of Pub.
Main access routes: The Barley Sheaf is situated in the centre of Bodmin which is a Main access routes: Off the M5 onto the A30 which leads you to Bodmin Town. We are situated on the main High Street at the top of the Town.
