The Tavern is just a short walk from the heart of bustling Newquay; “The Tavern is a splendid country inn that is well worth seeking out”. As Advertised in the hidden inns of Cornwall.
Dating back to the 16th century, it is only since 1965 that this wonderful old building has been an inn and, for many years, it was a farmhouse.
To the front is a beautiful cottage garden and patio area - an ideal place to soak up the sun - and the mass of colourful flowers in the borders, window box's and hanging baskets puts most other gardens to shame.

There is no designated restaurant at The Tavern at present, however the function room and the accompanying area is capable of seating over sixty.
Food is served from 12.00pm to 2.00pm - 6.30pm to 9.00pm (6.30pm to 9.30pm Friday and Saturday)

On Saturday Nights we serve a selection of Rump Steaks, Chicken and Gammon For 4.95 as well as Lamb Shanks, Beef Ribs, Sirloins and lots more.
